With its cool matchbox-car design, the Cowon iAudio F1 should appeal to younger music fans, but its subpar battery life, weak bass, and lack of WM DRM 10 support hold it back. We strongly recommend upgrading the earphones to take advantage of the player’s sound quality. The radio screen is the best interface we’ve seen for a portable, and the recording interface is nice and simple, though we’d love sound-level meters.įor example, the music-playback screen is built around a pulsating graphic equalizer, with all kinds of track and reac information populating the readable screen.
